Just imagine using your Android phone as a portable scanner. It’s truly amazing because you’d be rather relieved from finding a scanner or using your phone’s camera every time while skimming through a document. This is why the Adobe Scan app has been announced for converting your phone to a powerful scanner, along with the ability to provide more functionality.
Adobe Scan can recognize text automatically using the OCR technology and convert documents, notes, receipts, business cards, etc. into an Adobe PDF with content which would be reusable. This app can automatically capture images and convert them into adaptable PDFs to speed up your work. It includes an inbuilt Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology that makes it easier for you to search, highlight, and comment on the generated file. And because it can perfectly recognize text, it can transform the scans into a high-quality PDF file.
How does Adobe Scan work?
Adobe Scan functions in a very simple manner. Simply capture the image and its advanced image technology automatically detects the borders and sharpens the scanned content. Next, you can put some touch up on the scanned photos or documents, and also crop, rotate, adjust color, and make modifications in it. The generated document comes out in a high-quality Adobe PDF that unlocks content through automated text recognition.
What Adobe Scan does?
With such ease and portability, now you can scan your documents anytime and anywhere. You can even scan multi-page documents and save them as PDF with one click. Moreover, the content can be recycled using the OCR technology and can be reused by creating a high-quality PDF which will work with the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
That’s not all, you can even save the scanned documents in the Adobe Document Cloud so that you can instantly access them and share with your contacts. Still, if your documents are lengthy, managing them on Adobe Document Cloud is extreme simplicity.
Adobe Scan associates you with the best document services so that you can get the most out of your PDFs and do whatever with them. You can even edit and convert the documents to Microsoft Office; fill them up, sign them, and send for tracking signatures.
